Natural Sleep Remedy: Cure Your Insomnia
There are two main ingredients in all natural sleepÃÂ supplements: Melatonin and Valerian root.
Melatonin works by reseting your internal clock and is usually given by doctors as an alternative for sleeping pills. One down side of Melatonin is after one month you body becomes immune, but it usually still has a placebo effect.
Valerian root is another way to go, but the problem with this is Valerian Root has a foul odor.
IÃÂ suggestÃÂ usingÃÂ the following:
Nutramist SLEEP NOW
It comes in a 0.5 fl. oz sprayÃÂ bottle and has both Melatonin and Valerian Root. It is mixed with Tea and other flavors to disguise the Valerian Root taste and for me theyÃÂ accomplishedÃÂ it.
Another option just as good:
This comes in a pill form if you want to avoid the taste. It also has bothÃÂ ingredientsÃÂ and works just as well.
DO NOT TAKE: Tylenol PM, or Simply Sleep or others like it. I'm not against the medicine in these products, I just don't think that they should be taken on a regular basis; after a while you can become dependent on them. If you have aÃÂ migraineÃÂ and you can't get to sleep then Tylenol PM can probably work. Or you can take Valerian Root and a giant glass of water.
InÃÂ conclusionÃÂ I must admit that my favorite is still NutraMist Sleep Now. Maybe it's theÃÂ convenienceÃÂ of a spray.
